Welcome to the family dear Sophie – Bienvenida a la Familia pequeña Sophie

I’ve been away for quite a while, however I have been working on a very nice project.

He estado retirada por algún tiempo, sin embargo, he estado trabajando en un hermoso proyecto.

I made a very special present for my dear new-born niece Sophie. I’m sure she will enjoy the colors and of course I made it thinking about a very precious little baby part of our family.

Hice éste colgante para la cuna de mi nueva sobrinita Sophie. Estoy segura que le encantarán los colores y por supuesto lo hice pensando en esta preciosa pequeña bebe ahora parte de nuestra familia.

I do not have a crib so, I hanged it in the backyard to take a full length photo.

This little bird reminds me of an aunt, so I called it like her. She is cute!

I love the little pom pom tail. I combined both colors white and pink to make it colorful.

Me encanta el pom pom de colita. Combiné ambos colores blanco y rosa para hacerla mas colorida.

This pink yarn was just the perfect color  for the fabric that I used on the mobile.

I had to come up with a very special tail for the pretty elephant.

The little lion was the most difficult to create since has lots of fluffy hair. But I think it looks cute as well.

El pequeño león fué el de mayor dificultad para realizar puesto que tiene mucho cabello esponjado. Pero quedé muy satisfecha con el resultado.

This is 100 % cotton fabric and I used the same palette for my little stuffed animals. I had it also embellished with little crocheted stars to inspire sweet dreams.

El colgante está confeccionado con tela 100% algodon. Aprobeché la misma paleta de la tela para tejer los animalitos. También,  por último adorné con estrellitas tejidas a crochet para inspirar hermosos sueños.

Listones y estrellas forman parte superior de este bonito colgante.

Thinking about a new family member gave me the inspiration to create something very special for her.
